I prayed to God, asking Him to reveal my unique calling and purpose in my life for years. It was a process (and I share my story multiple times on the podcasts I’ve been featured in.
I’ve shared my ups and downs on my own journey building this business. I recently came to a point where I had dread on Mondays, resented the tasks I have to do, and struggled with bitterness towards God for not making this path easier for me. While I am fulfilled, that doesn’t mean I enjoy everything that needs to get done.
I share about the importance of doing what you love and being aligned with your purpose in your work. But, even if you are doing what you are called to do, doesn’t mean that your are experiencing bliss on a daily basis.
Living out your life’s purpose doesn’t guarantee smooth sailing. In fact, often times it means rougher seas. This may intimidate you- but don’t let it. The more resistance, the harder the struggle, the rougher the sea…the stronger you become. You come out a mighty victor. As long as you do not give up…the victory is yours!
