There’s a scripture (2 Kings 3:16-20) that I read aloud daily that encourages me to keep digging while I am waiting for my breakthrough. I love this scripture because it reminds me that what I am praying for and waiting patiently for- not to mention working diligently and persistently for is an easy thing for God to do. While the delivery date and method may be unknown in my eyes it is quite simple in God’s eyes.
Here is the key to this lesson. We HAVE to keep digging. Not to mention, we may have to dig quite deep. In order to create and live an extraordinary life you will need to have a large and deep foundation. Are you digging deep enough for the life you want…or only digging a crawl space? Do you want a sky scraper life or a small house type of life? It is dependent on the size of the foundation you dig.
Digging can be quite exhausting. Digging can take a while and takes a lot of effort. However, as the scripture implies – I will do my part, only what I can do and God will do His part – what only He can do… and that is to fill these ditches I am digging with water. We play a huge part in the life we live. We are co-creators and partners with the Divine. It isn’t just up to chance.
You may not have to same beliefs as I do – but you can still find value in the lesson of this scripture. Are you digging deep enough?
