Right now, I’ll give you a really basic run down of how to possibly determine your personality.
The D stands for Dominance. This is a very aggressive, driven personality. They are determined, motivated my success and achievement and are very bottom line people. They speak directly and are more task oriented then people oriented. This person is very fast paced and can be hot headed. They make excellent leaders and are great in a crisis situation. They tend to seek high risk situations. They do not typically slow down to plan. The tend to “ready, fire, aim.” A D’s greatest fear is being taken advantage of.
I Stands for Influencing. This person with this high “I” quality if very outgoing, talkative, optimistic, energetic, enthusiastic and highly interested in people. I’s are more people oriented than task oriented. They typically wear bright colors and bold patterns, even in the winter. They are very animated and expressive people and tend to smile a lot. They enjoy being the center of attention and know how to keep a conversation going. They are very social. They are very good at persuading and inspiring others. An I’s greatest fear is rejection.
The D and I personality Type are the easiest to spot and pick up on because of the more outgoing and aggressive style. These two styles tend to get in other people’s space. The I and D are both innovative and visionary. They are not afraid of change or risks. They are both fast paced personalities.
The S stands for Steady, stable, secure. 70 percent of the population is wired this way. They are the silent majority. They are introverts but are people oriented. They are excellent supporters, go with the flow and prefer status quo. They are difficult to read emotionally. They are softer spoken and will use smaller gestures when speaking. They are excellent listeners. They prefer someone else to make decisions. They prefer everyone to be happy- even if that means them not getting exactly their first preference. Making other’s happy is more important than them getting their own way. They tend to be the glue of their circle of friends and have very loyal friendships. Their greatest fear is loss of security or change.
C stands for Compliant, correct, consciousness. The C’s are very detail oriented and perfectionist. They comply with the rules and are thorough planners. They are introverts and prefer to work alone. They are task oriented and tend to be very annoyed with I personalities. They require a lot of facts, data, and information before proceeding with any action. They do not like change and will not take action if risk is perceived. Their greatest fear is criticism. They tend to “ready, aim, aim, aim, aim….” Without ever pulling the trigger. They can suffer from paralysis analysis. They are valuable team members because of their precision, accuracy, and excellent planning. They are very intelligent and often have strong plan b’s and C’s in the event of something going wrong.
The S and C personalities are very good at keeping the I’s and D’s grounded. They are quieter and more introverted personalities. An S can typically be identified by their good listening skills. A C will be easy to identify by their precision and attention to detail. Both personalities avoid risk.
