A study done by Barbara Fredrickson at the University of North Carolina found that positive thinking can help you experience positive emotions- which is linked to improved health, an increase in skills, and improvement in your work.
To help start your day off right with developing the habit of positive thinking, read these affirmations out loud daily.
Why read them out loud? There are various scientific research studies on this subject. To sum it up, it helps engrain it in your memory.
I also know that when speaking positive, affirming words over your life (even if they are not “true” in the moment) roots them in your heart, or core belief system. This in turn, brings it to pass.
You are creating a self-fulfilling prophecy, when you consistently speak affirming words of what you want most in life.
