Purpose. What is it? What does it look like? Who has it figured out? These are the questions many people ask me. They have a burning desire to seek and find their purpose. Ever ask yourself, Who am I? Why am I here? What am I doing? You know there is a reason you are alive today. What am I supposed to do with my life? You know that you won’t find fulfillment until you start flowing in your purpose. You may be diligently seeking it and wonder Why have I not found it? Many of you know you have a purpose and are determined to discover it.
I am determined to help other’s find their purpose. I thrive when I walk with people to find their sweet spot and shine! That is in fact, my purpose in life. To help other’s uncover their purpose and to apply it daily to meaningful life work. The journey to uncovering your purpose can seem long and tiresome. If your like me, your patience may ware thin. Here are some things that I do daily and strongly encourage you to do as well that may help you on your journey.
I will purpose today to do a few things:
1. Love on purpose. I will love not only those closest to me, but strangers as well. Even more challenging (yet greatly rewarding) I will love those who are against me. I will purpose today to especially love those who hurt me, oppose me, and spitefully use and abuse me.
2. Move on purpose. I will keep going, even when I feel like quitting. I will move with a purpose. I will work hard today. I will purpose to seek solutions to challenges at work, family, etc. I will keep moving forward. I will move on when needed, or maybe change course or direction but I will keep moving. I will not stop.
3. Rest on purpose. I will allow myself to rest. This may seem contradictory to moving on purpose but resting is different then stopping. I will rest to sharpen my axe. I will enjoy my life and loved ones today. I will rest in the arms of a loved one, take a walk, meditate and pray. I will rest in the divine love and guidance living within. The ability to move with wisdom and love the unlovable only comes from rest and stillness. It is vital to rest in Purpose.
